VIDEO: Why this Nicaragua cathedral is abandoned

I arrived in my next Central American country, Nicaragua, and after checking into my hotel it was finally time to explore.

My first stop would be Plaza de le Revolución (Revolution Square), where the Old Cathedral of Managua stands. Unfortunately, the public isn’t allowed inside this place of worship - but for good reason, as I would find out when I went on a tour of the square’s other major building, Palcaio Nacional de la Cultura (National Palace of Culture), which is home to the National Museum of Nicaragua.
