Activities in Las Vegas to get your adrenaline pumping

Las Vegas at night.

Las Vegas at night.

Las Vegas – a name that evokes thoughts of dazzling neon lights in the middle of the desert and the adrenaline of rush of gambling your nights away.

Sin City was built on entertainment and activity, and it is perhaps the most thrilling city you can visit in the United States. So, in this post I’ll explore, and show you, some of the city’s most exciting activities away from the roulette table.

Now, before you go, you’ll want to know how to get around the city, and getting to all of these adrenaline-infused pursuits by public transport can be difficult or near impossible, and using a taxi or Uber can quickly make a sizeable dent on your budget. So, remember to book your rental car in Vegas before coming, as this option provides the most practical way to move, plus, you wouldn’t want to miss the chance to drive down the world-famous Las Vegas Strip!

So, without further ado, here are five Las Vegas activities that will get your adrenaline pumping!

An ATV ride to Valley of Fire State Park

Valley of Fire State Park is naturally stunning.

Las Vegas is right next to some of the most beautiful desert landscapes in the world, such as those found at the Valley of Fire state park. Here you’ll find impressive and outlandish views, with everything from hills made of swirling pink and white rocks to bright red cliffs.

You can also add a little bit of spice to your park visit by doing so on an all-terrain vehicle! Companies such as Adrenaline ATV Tours offer you the opportunity to explore the park using vehicles such as quad-cycles and sand buggies.

SlotZilla Zip Line, Fremont Street

Sin City is the kind of place where anything and everything can happen, no matter how absurd or wild it may seem, so you shouldn’t be surprised when I tell you that you can zipline from a platform that looks like a ginormous slot machine and fly like superman all the way through one of downtown the city’s most famous streets.

Fremont Street is an icon, full of neon lights, casinos, restaurants, and music. You can, of course, visit this famous street on foot, but If you want to experience the sensory overload that is characterises Las Vegas, then zipline your way down this stretch!

Sin City Smash

Sin City Smash is an unusual entertainment venue. As a rage room, it’s here that you’ll find a room full of common objects such as printers, bottles, and computer monitors that you’re tasked with destroying. Take your implement of choice, then simply smash everything to smithereens.

Don’t worry though, the activity is safer than it looks as you’re provided all the necessary safety equipment to ensure you come out uninjured. There is also an axe-throwing range at the same facility, so if letting out your innermost barbarian at the rage room isn’t enough, you can also practice your axe throwing arm.

Dig This Las Vegas

Sometimes the simplest things can give you the thrill of your life – take digging a hole in the ground, for example. Sound unlikely? Well, throw in heavy construction machinery and that’s precisely the vision at Dig This Las Vegas.

Here you get to play with real excavators and bulldozers and learn the basics of how to operate them. There’s also a package option that allows you to trash a car using the digger if you really want to kick things up a notch!

Dig This Las Vegas is located a fair distance outside of the city centre so getting a car rental in Las Vegas and driving there is a smart move (and there’s also plenty of parking).
